Segura Essa
Quotas for entry into Brazilian higher education are part of educational policy. They are a reality and the biggest change in this level of education in the last 20 years. Its adoption as State policy is the result of the struggles of the Brazilian black movement for a democratic and anti-racist society. Initially demanded by this social movement as one of the ways to correct racial inequalities in higher education, they gradually gained support from other sectors of society also underrepresented in academic spaces.

The comic Segura Essa was made in honor of the 20th anniversary of the quota and also with the aim of publicizing this possibility among low-income young people. This comic is a creation of SoU_Ciência, and was entirely drawn by me. The comic Segura Essa will be released soon, and here you can see some illustrations.
